The smile of a friend

It's not often you get to do something nice for someone.

Half way into an abysmal night feuerbrand walked in w/ her family. WHOA!

talk 'bout a surprise.

They were sat in the other teams section but I was quick to rescue the table from the other teams evil grasp and claim them for my own. I talked to my captain. He told me to take care of the table and he'd look after everything else. Kinda like a field promotion. While i've done bits and pieces of the captains work, I've never done the whole song and dance from start to finish. I'd like to think everything went well, One or two bumps, but I dont think they noticed them. AnyWay.

It turns out Dr.feuerbrand just finished up medical school and some of her family had come down from Canada to celebrate. She kinda chose M.E. out of a short list and only found out afterword from a mutual friend that I work there. I'm just glad I hadnt decided to go home early tonight.

Now not a lot of my friends get to experience what I do. But when they step up to the plate I try to deliver.

While there are limits to my powers I do have sway over certain areas. I got chef to throw in a mid-course of Potatoe Gnocchi with sweet corn rissotto, chantrel mushrooms, and louisianna crayfish. Then for dessert I hit them hard. Bringing out the Rosa Regal (sparkling dessert wine) and numerous extra desserts.

Dr.feuerbrand kept thanking me throughout the entire dinner and I kept telling her "The shows not over don't thank me yet..." And by the end I think she understood what I ment. Everything went so well, everyone had such a great experince, that I know that when the leave Arizona this will be one of the highlights. And it's because of what I could do for them.

Now that just makes me feel all warm and fuzy inside.
